Present ideas in Digital Studio, Expreiment 2 (sound jars 2.0), Tape Loop Experiments

Projects

  • Sound Jars: recived all my materials! Derick helped me wire up a power supply, a pot terminal, and a buck. Everything worked except one buckdown we wired. I realized can screw in the motors to the bottoms of th lid with tiny machine screws so I will be working on that next. table of jars paired with motors--> jars paired with motors image of jar First prototype of big jar, 12V motor
  • Connectere Concrete:
  • Drum Machine: Cemented shoes dried but cracked! will have to redo...
  • Running Man:
  • Tape Loops: Harry recorded about 15 minutes of field recordings that we spliced together into 8"-14" loops. I took the face off of the tape recorder and moved the 4ohm speaker to the outside. 75% success rate, need a new shell. Began prototyping a shelf. image of tape player with speaker wired outside image of tape player with speaker wired outside image of inside of tape player image of inside of tape player image of tape player image of tape player diagram of basic tape loops spanning from 5 to 9 seconds diagram of basic tape loops spanning from 5 to 9 seconds
